We designed a website that was easy to use and easy to update. We wanted the visitors to feel at home, which is why we chose a warm colour palette. We also took a lot of inspiration from the analogue photographs and film strips. We structured the website to be easy to navigate. The company does a lot of things such as films, photos, book photography and exhibitions, so the website had to be structured in a way that the visitors don’t get lost. We used methods such as alternating which side of the page the text is displayed on and introduced breadcrumbs so that you always know where on the website you are.
